NAAB holds ‘Strategic Engagement Meeting 2026’

The Netherlands Alumni Association of Bangladesh (NAAB) Strategic Engagement Meeting 2026 was held on July 30 at the KIB (Krishibid Institution Bangladesh) Complex.

A total of 45 registered NAAB members participated in this important strategic event organized by the association.

The meeting aimed to bring together NAAB members to discuss the association's future direction and identify strategic priorities for strengthening NAAB's role, expanding member engagement, and enhancing its contribution to Bangladesh–Netherlands relations.

During the meeting, members shared valuable ideas, suggestions, and constructive feedback on how to further strengthen and advance NAAB in the coming years.

The event featured lively and interactive discussions, with enthusiastic participation and strong commitment from all attendees toward building a stronger, more vibrant, and sustainable NAAB.

Dr Kamruzzaman Kaiser, president of NAAB, formally inaugurated the meeting by welcoming all participants.

In his opening remarks, he encouraged members to actively participate in the open discussion and share their ideas, experiences, and suggestions for the future development of the Association.

Among the distinguished participants was Akhtar Ahmed, senior secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat and a registered NAAB member.

He shared his personal perspectives and valuable recommendations, emphasizing the importance of making NAAB a more vibrant and active organization through greater engagement and participation of its members.

AR Malik Seeds Pvt Ltd sponsored flower seeds for all participants.

A representative from the company delivered a brief presentation on flower cultivation and production technology.

Participants were delighted to receive the seeds and appreciated the initiative.

NAAB requested all recipients to cultivate the flowers and share their progress through the NAAB WhatsApp group.

The cultivation results will be reviewed and recognized at a future NAAB event.

This initiative was conceived and implemented by Dr M Golam Mahboob, chief scientific officer, BARC, and Dr Naeema Jihan Zinia, managing partner, EnvSoL.

The meeting concluded on a highly positive note, with participants expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to NAAB's future strategic direction.

Everyone also enjoyed the refreshments and dinner, and highly appreciated the excellent hospitality and overall arrangements provided by the KIB.
