Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Sparks organized its 2nd General Members' Meeting (GMM) 2026 at the ATEC Australia International Ltd in the capital on July 11.
The structural session brought together the chapter's board of directors, general members, and national and local JCI dignitaries to evaluate progress and plan upcoming developmental pathways.
The meeting officially commenced with the call to order followed by the recitation of the JCI creed, mission, and vision.
Following the constitutional establishment of the quorum, 2026 local president of JCI Dhaka Sparks Senator Raihan Ahmed Dip, delivered the opening remarks.
He emphasized the transformative networking opportunities built within the global JCI ecosystem and urged members to actively invest time to optimize their personal and professional growth.
A key highlight of the event was the official induction of two new members Md Zahid Hoshen Masud and Afiea Ibnat Suchi.
They took their institutional membership oaths and received their official certificates from the local president Raihan Ahmed Dip and 2026 national vice president Towfiq Hasan respectively.
Local president Raihan Ahmed Dip then delivered a comprehensive activity report, mapping out the local, national, and international impact actions undertaken by JCI Dhaka Sparks throughout 2026.
Following this, local treasurer Md Jakir Hossain presented a transparent treasury report, highlighting financial metrics and the crucial role of member investments in sustainable project modeling.
The meeting also acted as a strategic launchpad for the chapter’s upcoming signature actions.
Project chair Monika Noshin presented the framework for the "Climate - Smart Health Innovation Challenge," followed by project chair Sahaduzzaman Shrabon, who laid out the structural blueprint for the "Green Village" project.
Furthermore, local executive vice president ASM Mosabbir Tanim unveiled the blueprint for "JCI Drama Night," the chapter's anticipated signature event.
Recognizing institutional excellence, the "Member of the Month" awards for April, May, and June were jointly presented by the NVP and LP to Farzana Sultana Mow, Sahaduzzaman Shrabon, and Roksana Chowdhury respectively.
Serving as a guest, 2026 JCI Bangladesh national vice president Towfiq Hasan commended the chapter’s active drive and stressed the strategic importance of members participating in the upcoming 2026 JCI World Congress in the Philippines.
In his closing remarks, LP Raihan Ahmed Dip highlighted JCI's core value of inclusivity, encouraging inter - chapter and international collaboration s before officially adjourning the assembly.
