As part of the national observations for International Human Duties Day and Week, JCI Dhaka Sparks executed its impactful community project, "Beautiful Minds: Workplace Mental Wellbeing Initiative."
The event was hosted at the premises of ATEC Australia International Ltd, focusing on the fundamental human duty of individuals, especially working professionals, to prioritize personal mental health and selfcare.
The core session was conducted by Nasima Akter, one of the country's leading psychotherapists and trainers with over 30 years of extensive experience.
The interactive, psychologist-led session engaged nearly 50 corporate professionals in identifying stress indicators, learning emotional resilience, and discussing constructive coping mechanisms.
Shuvasish Bhowmick, managing director of ATEC Australia International Ltd and an eminent corporate personality, shared his valuable personal experiences with stress management during his address.
He emphasized the practical utility of personality analysis tools, such as the DISC framework, to enhance interpersonal communications and safely navigate corporate pressure.
Highlighting the institutional significance of the event, Minara Nargis, head of HR, spoke extensively on how mental wellbeing in the workplace serves as a core structural pillar for modern human resource management and operational productivity.
Led by 2026 local president senator Raihan Ahmed Dip and project chairperson Roksana Nasrin (2026 general legal counsel), the JCI Dhaka Sparks delegation actively advocated for incorporating daily mental health awareness into the operational framework of professional environments.
The chapter aims to present the successful outcomes of this project as a structural blueprint for the broader human duties’ observance week running through July 10.
