In response to the rising global fuel crisis, Walton’s electric bike brand, Takyon, has launched its "Super Saver Carnival," offering significant discounts and unique rewards for eco-friendly commuters across Bangladesh.
Under this new campaign, customers can enjoy discounts of up to Tk9,600 on various Takyon models.
Adding to the excitement, lucky customers stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Argentina national football team play live in the stadium.
To mark the carnival, Walton organized simultaneous rallies in over 70 locations across all 64 districts.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles (EVs).
Alongside the rallies, Walton is hosting Free Service Campaigns where existing Takyon users can receive free maintenance, purchase spare parts at special discounted rates, and prospective buyers can experience the bikes firsthand through organized test rides.
Takyon bikes are specifically engineered for Bangladeshi road conditions, currently offering nine different models in various colors.
These bikes are highly efficient, with a running cost of only Tk0.10–Tk0.20 per kilometer and a range spanning 80 km to 120 km per charge depending on the model.
Equipped with advanced lead graphene batteries, digital dashboards, remote keys, and multiple speed modes, the bikes are designed with powerful suspension to ensure a comfortable ride for two adults.
As the first BRTA-approved electric bike in the country, Takyon models are priced between Tk78,750 and Tk183,000.
Bikes are available at all Walton showrooms and Takyon exclusive dealer outlets nationwide.
Customers can purchase them via cash payment or through flexible EMI facilities.
Takyon is currently at the peak of customer demand by ensuring a comfortable riding experience and fast after-sales service, the company stated.
