The Installation Ceremony of the newly elected executive committee of Cadet College Club Limited (CCCL) for the year 2026 was held on Friday, January 30, at the Club premises in Purbachal, Dhaka.
The event was graced by General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army, as chief guest.
Engr Md Riaz-ul-Islam, chairman of the Capital Development Authority (Rajuk), attended as special guest, while Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC and Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB), was present as guest of honour.
The ceremony was attended by former presidents, vice presidents and secretaries general of Cadet College Club, members of the executive committees for 2025 and 2026, members of the college representative committee, and a large number of guests.
Senior officials from the Bangladesh Army, Rajuk, and various banks were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest, special guest and guest of honour shared their views on leadership, institutional values, and the importance of alumni-driven platforms in nation-building.
The program also featured speeches by Architect Ishtiaq Zahir Titas, president of Cadet College Club Limited, and Tahmina Rahman Anu, director (administration) of the club.
The members of the newly elected executive committee were formally introduced by Squadron Leader Kaiser Sohel Ahmed (Retd.), chairman of the election commission.
On behalf of Cadet College Club Limited, crests were presented to the chief guest, special guest and guest of honour by the club president.
Approximately 1,600 members along with their spouses attended the ceremony, making it a vibrant and memorable occasion. Dhaka Bank PLC played a key role in the successful organization of the event through its generous support.
