Apex Footwear wins two retail Asia Awards

Apex Footwear Ltd is delighted to share that we have been recognized for the second time in a row at the Retail Asia Awards 2025, held on June 4 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. 

The two categories of the achievements are: “Footwear Retailer of the Year - Bangladesh” and “Sustainability Initiative of the Year – Bangladesh”. 

The Retail Asia Awards is a prestigious annual event where excellence and innovation in the retail industry are recognized and celebrated by industry leaders across Asia. 

Recognizing standout achievements in categories such as customer experience, sustainability, and product innovation, the awards honor companies that are setting new standards and shaping the future of retail in the region.

The Retail Asia Awards 2025 ceremony was a grand celebration of excellence, featuring participation from several well-known international retail brands including Birkenstock South East Asia, H&M, IKEA Hong Kong, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Singapore, Skechers Singapore, Swarovski, 7-Eleven Singapore. To receive the awards, Apex Footwear Ltd was evaluated through a meticulous judging process conducted by a distinguished panel of judges consisting of the consumer and retail leaders of KPMG China, Asia Pacific EY-Parthenon, PwC, Euromonitor International, and research consultants and partners from Kearney and Partner, RSM Singapore etc. 

Not to mention, Apex had won these awards the previous year also, making them the winner for the second time in a row at the Retail Asia Awards.  

Apex Footwear Ltd, one of the pioneers in Bangladesh’s footwear industry, has grown from a single 400sqft store in 1997 to over 500 locations nationwide, serving millions of loyal customers with trend-driven designs and quality products. 

Throughout the journey of Apex, the company has consistently prioritized delivering high-quality products and providing an unwavering customer experience resulting in remarkable year-on-year growth.

Apex has also made sustainability a core part of its strategy. 

Through initiatives such as solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and the use of recycled materials, Apex is working towards a 65% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2027. 

Their manufacturing operations are already 40% powered by solar energy and 96% of leather is sourced from certified tanneries.
