After completing a glorious 26-year journey, Standard Bank PLC has entered its 27th year recently.
On this occasion, the Dua program was held at the bank's head office in Dhaka, specifically in the Boardroom.
Mohammed Abdul Aziz, chairman of the bank, attended the program as chief guest, while Md Habibur Rahman, managing director and CEO, presided over the program.
The bank's directors, Mohammad Manjur Alam, Ferozur Rahman, SAM Hossain, Al-Haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, Ferdous Ali Khan, and Jhahedul Alam, participated in the program physically, while some attended virtually.
Deputy Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman and divisional heads of the head office, as well as heads of all branches, along with employees from the head office and all branches, participated in the celebration both physically and virtually.
Mohammed Abdul Aziz, along with the directors, cut a cake to make the 26th anniversary memorable.
In his speech, he called upon all members of the Standard Bank family to adhere to the Shari'ah in conducting banking activities and expected everyone's active participation in the bank's development and prosperity.
