A customer from now on can send money up to a maximum of Tk50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk300,000 per month from bKash account.
At the same time, a customer can cash in a maximum of Tk50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk300,000 per month to bKash account to carry out all necessary transactions.
Last Thursday (March 27), the Payment Systems Department of the Bangladesh Bank issued a notification increasing the daily and monthly transaction limits in mobile financial services (MFS) accounts.
The central bank has taken this initiative keeping in mind the trust confidence of customers in the service and increased transactions in the MFS sector.
Until now, a customer could cash in a maximum of Tk30,000 per day and Tk200,000 per month.
Until now, the daily cash out limit was Tk25,000 and a maximum of Tk150,000 per month, which has been increased to a maximum of Tk30,000 per day and Tk200,000 per month.
Through this notification, the balance limit in bKash account has also been increased from Tk300,000 to Tk500,000.
This means, now a customer can deposit a maximum of Tk500,000 lakh in bKash account.
