Md Nurun Newaz has elected as the NCC Bank chairman.
The decision was made in the bank’s board of directors meeting on Monday.
Alhaj Md Nurun Newaz Salim is an eminent industrialist and entrepreneur of the country.
He is the chairman of Electro Mart Ltd (manufacturer and supplier of well known brand KONKA and GREE) and Trade International Industries Ltd.He recognized as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the fovernment.
Newaz was the director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and previously served as the director of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He was also the former senior-vice president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries. He was the chairman of Central Insurance Co Ltd.
He is the life member of Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry, member of Dhaka Club Ltd, Gulshan Club Ltd and Purbachal Club Ltd, Dhaka. He is a member of Board of Trustees of Feni University.
He is the founder of many educational and religious institutions in Feni.
