Transcom Beverages/PepsiCo and Showmotion Limited/Star Cineplex on Thursday signed an exclusive agreement for supply of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages to all Star Cineplex cinemas in Bangladesh.
The ceremony was attended by senior management teams from both organizations.
The agreement was inked by Deepinder Singh Tiwana, executive director (operations), Transcom Beverages and Mahboob Rahman Ruhel, MP, chairman, Showmotion Ltd.

According to Deepinder: "As the leading beverage company in Bangladesh, TBL/PepsiCo is proud to renew its relationship with Star Cineplex as the premier cinema chain in Bangladesh - together we aim to continue providing our consumers with the perfect movie combo - a chilled Pepsi beverage with popcorn."
Mahboob Rahman, chairman, Showmotion Ltd/StarCineplex, said: "Star Cineplex would like to thank its beverage partner, PepsiCo for quenching the thirst of millions of Cineplex-goers in Bangladesh. Pepsi has contributed a lot in making Star Cineplex the 'favorite family entertainment destination' for Bangladesh over the last 18 years."

During the term of this contract, Star Cineplex plans to roll out 100 screens across major cities in Bangladesh. Together, Star Cineplex and PepsiCo will deliver on their promise to Bangladesh," he added.
