Gemini Seafood Limited (GSFL) and Lenk Frozen Foods (Asia) Co Ltd (LENK) have signed an agreement to promote best practices in seafood, grow their global market presence, and strengthen backward linkage.
The agreement was signed on March 5 at the Gemcon Group Corporate main office in the capital.
This agreement represents a significant milestone in the development of sustainable seafood practices in Bangladesh and both teams are dedicated to promoting best practices across the value chain.

The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from both companies comprising Heiko Lenk, managing director of LENK Frozen Foods (Asia) Co Ltd. and Kazi Inam Ahmed, managing director of GSFL along with Kazi Anis Ahmed and Kazi Nabil Ahmed both directors of GSFL.
LSFL has recently signed an MoU with ASC for the pilot project of “ASC Group Farmers Certification” in Bangladesh.
This collaboration will allow both GSFL and LSFL to reap benefits by utilizing best seafood practices and collectively become a strong contender in the seafood sector of Bangladesh.
