Pran-RFL Group, the country's leading business conglomerate and Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) jointly organized a tree plantation program at Kaliganj in Gazipur.
The tree plantation program was held on the banks of the Shitalakshya River adjacent to RFL Industrial Park on Sunday, reads a press release.
Commander M Shamsul Alam Mia, BN (Retd), executive director of RFL Industrial Park and Abu Saleh Mohammad Ehteshamul Parvez, deputy director (Port), Ghorashal River Port of BIWTA inaugurated the program.
Shamsul Alam Mia said: “Pran-RFL Group conducts various programs as part of its corporate social responsibility. We regularly conduct tree plantation programs in different parts of the country to protect the environment. We will continue this kind of program in the future.”
Md Keramat Ali, assistant general manager (Administration), Kaliganj Agro Processing and senior officials of BIWTA and Pran-RFL Group were present at the program.
