The Westin Dhaka is delighted to announce the highly anticipated Thai Food Festival, 'Tastes of Thailand,' which is going to take place from June 11 to June 24 at Seasonal Tastes restaurant.

Makawadee Sumitmor, ambassador of the Royal Thai Embassy of Dhaka, Bangladesh, will inaugurate the ceremony, gracing the event as an Honorable guest along with Md Shakawath Hossain, CEO of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC), Stephane Masse, general manager of The Westin Dhaka.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will feature two MasterChefs from Thailand, who will showcase their culinary prowess and authenticity throughout the event.
These MasterChefs bring with them years of expertise and a deep understanding of Thai cuisine, ensuring that guests experience the most genuine flavors and traditional techniques.
Our guest MasterChef Sophon Nakjaroen (Aon) has been in charge of the Thai Kitchen operations at W Koh Samui for the past seven years and has more than 26 years of experience in Thai cooking who specializes in quality Thai cuisine.
Meenarat Chukum (OH), another MasterChef began her work in the food industry in the late 2000. OH joined W Koh Samui as chef de partie, where she oversaw the Thai Kitchen as well as the cold Kitchen. Hassan Koubaissi is an accomplished executive chef at The Westin Dhaka, boasting 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Having worked at renowned hotels such as Four Seasons, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton, Marriott, and Hilton, he has established himself as a skilled professional.
At the press conference, held prior to the festival, management of The Westin Dhaka and esteemed partners will join this inaugural ceremony with the Master Chefs and Her Excellency to share insights and details about the event.

The 'Tastes of Thailand' Thai Food Festival will take place at Seasonal Tastes restaurant, known for its elegant ambiance and commitment to culinary excellence. A few of signature Thai cuisines are Gai satay, Neua Yang Bai Chaplu, Dom tum tod, Tod mun pla, Nam Prik, Thai Salads like Larb Gai, Yum woon sen, Tom Yum Goong, Nam sai soup along with live stations with Pad Thai and many other popular Thai dishes and desserts for the guests.
