In Bangladesh, the Honda Vezel is one of the most preferred crossovers among both young adults and adults.
In order to compete with Toyota's hybrid vehicles, Honda launched its hybrid segment automobiles in the local market in the last ten years.
Over the years, Vezel has enjoyed considerable success in Bangladesh, even though this might be the case, to much of its fans' annoyance; the facelift was a long time coming.
Additionally, it appeared to be gradually disappearing as new competitors entered the market and targeted the same automobile niche.
The brand-new Honda Vezel is truly distinctive and seems to emit a fresh attitude toward the world thanks to its new advanced systems that guarantee safe and stress-free driving, its fresh and entertaining exterior styling, a completely renovated interior that maximizes the feeling of openness and its performance.
The latest e: HEV hybrid technology is featured in the third-generation Vezel. In terms of the drivetrain, a 1.5L engine is mated to two electric motors. The new Vezel is the best option for fuel efficiency, the manufacturer asserts. With the new hybrid system, the crossover is able to deliver an average 25 km/l.
You can choose between three different driving modes with e: HEV: Normal, Sport, and Econ.
With this new powertrain, acceleration feels smooth and comfortable, more on that later.
Exterior
In terms of significant alterations in design, changes have been made to it to make it look more appealing, particularly to the younger generation.
The new Vezel exudes personality from the outside to the interior, possesses the strength of an SUV, and has a sleek appearance.
Particularly noticeable is the front of the Honda Vezel 2021. It incorporates an integrated grille that matches the body's color, giving the body and grille a more seamless appearance.
The back of the new Vezel is likewise considerably cleaner than the old one. To highlight the presence of the horizontal tail lighting, the excess character line has been removed.
Honda has purposefully selected a tailgate handle that is positioned where the hand is naturally extended, making it simple to carry luggage. Honda was particular about the Vezel's usability, something we don't see often with cars that had undergone significant changes in design.
Interior
The inside of the Honda Vezel 2021 has been completely overhauled to provide comfort for all occupants.

Its exceptional interior maximizes the feeling of openness in a small space. It features a wonderfully organized cabin and a strong, refreshing sight from the front seats to the back seats.
The HMI (Human Machine Interface) idea served as the foundation for the new Vezel's meticulous interior design. You can detect a high level of HMI refinement while driving. Its dashboard and audio panel are positioned so that you can easily see the entire road ahead of you when driving.
A 9-inch infotainment panel with wired Android Auto and wifi Apple CarPlay connectivity is placed in the middle. One might choose a dual-zone automatic climate control system for the air conditioning and the new air conditioning system includes cool, tactile knobs that are simple to operate. Similar knobs have also been seen on the newest Civic models.
All the controls or switches are arranged such that you can easily access them to support safe and efficient driving without obstructing your line of sight or the flow of traffic.
The newest Vezel model does not have a sunroof, which may upset many who love them.
Safety Features
The latest generation Vezel comes with six airbags, anti-collision, lane assist, lane keep assist, automated emergency braking, Electronic Brake Distributor system (EBD) with ABS, hill-start assist and other safety features are included.
In terms of safety features, Honda has done a good job given that this vehicle is only catering to a mid-ranged segment.
Verdict
This is the perfect vehicle to go out of Dhaka with, as it has exceptional fuel mileage and ground clearance. The 2021 model is available in six colours and comes with a price tag of slightly more than Tk45 lakh.
The only drawback I could find in the car was the lack of sunroof, as most of its competitors provide one.
