Global Islami Bank launched a special Mudarabah Savings Account namely ‘Ehsan' in order to bring marginalized communities of the country under banking scope.
The product was launched at a program held at a convention hall in Dhaka where Md Abul Bashar, executive director of the Financial Inclusion Department was present as the chief guest.
Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of Global Islami Bank presided over the program, according to a press release.
Additional Managing Directors Md Golam Sarwar and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, deputy managing director Sami Karim, head of Investment SM Mizanur Rahman, divisional heads, branch managers and Ehsan account holders of different branches were also present at the program.
