Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in the country, is observing Safety & Wellness Week 2022 starting on Saturday.
The 6-day program is aimed at ensuring the sound physical and mental health of Banglalink employees, reads a press release. A series of health and safety activities will be carried out as part of this program.
The slogan of this year's program, “Towards a healthy and safe working culture at Banglalink” reflects Banglalink's commitment to maintaining a corporate culture of good health and safety for all employees.
The 6-day program started with the 'Opening Ceremony by Leadership Team Members' at Banglalink's Head Office in Dhaka. It was followed by a 4.9 km 'Walkathon' participated by Banglalink employees.
They will engage in various safety and wellness activities such as health talks, psychological counselling, body massage, hearing test, first-hand medical aids, fire PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) exhibition, fire evacuation drill, 1-to-1 diet consultation, breast cancer screening, laughter therapy, yoga session, and meditation session.
Monzula Morshed, chief human resources and administration officer of Banglalink said: “As one of the top employers in the country, we strive to make sure that all our employees are in good physical and mental conditions. We run various activities on a regular basis so that they remain fit and active at our workplace. The Safety & Wellness Week will motivate them further to be more careful about their overall wellbeing.”
