Pubali Bank Limited and Dhaka Electric Supply Company (Desco) Limited have signed an agreement recently for Desco Bill (Prepaid and Postpaid) payment through Internet Banking/PI Banking Apps.
Md Rabiul Alam, DGM and head of ADC Division, Pubali Bank Limited and Engr Md Atiqur Rahman, company secretary of Desco, signed the agreement, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, customers of Desco will be able to pay their prepaid and postpaid electricity bills through Pubali Bank Internet Banking/PI banking apps.
The bill will be updated in the Desco database in real-time.
Kh Zoherul Islam, joint secretary and executive director (Finance and Accounts), Desco; Md Mominul Islam, general manager (Finance and Accounts), Desco; Engr Shamim Ahsan Chowdhury, chief engineer (ICT Division), Desco; Md Shahin Shahria, GM and head of Gulshan Corporate Branch, Pubali Bank Limited, along with other officials from both the organizations were also present during the ceremony.
