The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and AB Bank recently signed an MoU at a ceremony held at the bank’s Corporate Office.
Under the MoU, AB Bank will get access to use Documents Verification System (DVS) for verifying the authenticity of audited financial statements of different entities, reads a press release.
President of ICAB Md Shahadat Hossain and President and Managing Director of AB Bank Tarique Afzal signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
ICAB’s Vice Presidents, Council Members with Chief Executive Officer and AB Bank’s Deputy Managing Directors along with the senior officials were present at the occasion.
ICAB already signed a similar MoU with NBR, FRC, BSEC and RJSC. DVS has already become popular among the business communities and regulators.
