Dhaka Wasa thanked and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for inaugurating Padma Bridge at a programme held on Sunday.
Wasa Deputy Managing Director (Human Resources and Admin) Dr Syed Md Golam Yazdani welcomed all officials attending the programme. He said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina implemented the Padma bridge project defying all the barriers.
“The water treatment plant with Dhaka-Mawa road, capable of treating 45 crore litre of water every day was also built under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said, adding that the engineers from Dhaka Wasa are proud to work alongside the engineers of Padma bridge.
Earlier on Saturday, the Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Wasa Taqsem A Khan attended the inauguration programme of Padma bridge.
