Rafija Sultana is a young woman entrepreneur from Narayanganj. She is also a student of Dhaka University, currently doing her master’s.
From childhood, Sultana loved to do various crafts and design clothes. She used to surprise everyone with various kinds of art.
Everyone around Sultana admired the crafts and designs she made. Her close friends’ families and husbands used to talk about taking this work forward in a better way.
Inspired by this, Sultana made her debut in the business realm in 2019 by starting a business called Rafija's Closet. Naturally, the response was less at first, but gradually it took the place of people's trust in online shopping.
In the last three years, her business has improved a lot. People's interest is constantly increasing due to her creative design. She provides all kinds of dresses for big festivals such as Pohela Boishakh, Eid, Puja, etc.
Sultana’s family includes her husband and children. Besides being an entrepreneur, she is also studying. Despite all these responsibilities, she is constantly trying to make her business stand out. In addition to her family, she manages the business very well, which she considers another part of her life.
As a reward for her hard work, Sultana received the “Youth Bangla Cultural Foundation Junior Entrepreneur 2020” award for Rafija's Closet. She was selected as the second runner-up in “MAMBAB Mua 2021.” She also received the 'Majestic Affair 2021' award for this initiative.
