MoU signed between NRBC Bank and Oxfam, Bangladesh to enhance microcredit

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NRBC Bank and Oxfam, Bangladesh to alleviate poverty and injustice and to cope with the fourth industrial revelation by ensuring their access to financial and technological ecosystems. 

On Monday, Golam Awlia, managing director and CEO of NRBC Bank, and Ashish Damle, country director of OXFAM Bangladesh, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations, said a press release.

According to the MoU, NRBC Bank and OXFAM Bangladesh will collaborate to improve the lives of marginalized people through microcredit, cashless villages, the establishment of a marketplace, and other activities.

Among others, Kazi Md Talha, additional managing director, Kabir Ahmed, DMD, Harunur Rashid, DMD, and CFO, Kazi Safayet Kabir, Head of FI and BD of the Bank, Mohammad Soeb Iftekhar, head of Economic Inclusion and Justice, and Sonia Tahera Kabir, business development manager of Oxfam Bangladesh, were present on the occasion.
