During the month of Ramadan, banks will remain open from 9:30am to 4pm every working day.
However, people will only be allowed to make transactions between 9:30am to 2:30pm, a Bangladesh Bank circular issued on Wednesday said.
According to Bangladesh Islamic Foundation, Ramadan will begin on April 3.
Bangladesh Bank further said that the office and banking hour will return to the previous time after the end of Ramadan.
