National cricketer Shakib Al Hassan’s new e-commerce platform Monarch Mart has signed an agreement with fashion brand Grameen Uniqlo.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the Uniqlo Corporate Office at Land View Shopping Center, Gulshan Circle-2 at 10am on Friday.
Shakib is the director and chairman of the newly-floated company.
According to the company website, Monarch Mart sells automobiles, electronics, fashion, health and beauty items, groceries, home appliances, music, books, pet supplies, playsets, sports and outdoors items and toys and games.
Meanwhile, Grameen Uniqlo, a social business organization, has been operating in Bangladesh since 2011.
Through the agreement, both parties hope to be part of a positive e-commerce ecosystem with better service and better brands.
