Bank Asia is awarded the ‘Best Bank Partner for Climate Trade in South Asia’ by International Finance Corporation (IFC) in recognition of its efforts in reducing environmental externalities and risk perceptions with investing in green finance.
Regional Industry Director, FIG Asia Pacific of IFC Allen Forlemu handed over the award to President and Managing Director of Bank Asia Md Arfan Ali in Dhaka recently.
IFC’s Country Manager for Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan Martin Holtmann, Deputy Managing Director SM Iqbal Hossain and SEVP and Head of Int’l Division of Bank Asia Md Zia Arfin along with other officials of both the organizations were present at the ceremony.
