Southeast Bank launches 3 agent banking outlets

Southeast Bank formally launches three agent banking outlets for the unbanked people across the country, especially in the rural and semi-urban areas of Kalihati, Tangail; Shalikha, Magura; and South Keranigonj, Dhaka. 

Its main objective is to uphold the trend of financial inclusion and spread banking services to every corner of the country, said a press release.

As the chief guest, M Kamal Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank, inaugurated the formal operation of three agent banking outlets.

Other officials of the bank and proprietors of the three agent outlets were also connected virtually at the launching ceremony. 

All kinds of modern and technology-backed conventional and ‘Tijarah’-Islamic banking services will be provided by Southeast Bank Agent Banking "Shagotom". 

Customers can get many more facilities from Southeast Bank Agent Banking "Shagotom" like they may open an account (savings or current); cash deposit and withdrawal; fund transfer; cash transfer through Beftn at any bank account; foreign remittance; the processing of cheque books, debit cards, and credit cards; BO Account opening and Share transactions facilities; free digital health service; micro, medium, and Krishi loans; Attractive health insurance benefits utility bill; loan payment; government allowance; and regular customer loan and also get internet banking service facilities.

Customers will also be able to perform necessary banking services round the clock at the Recycler ATM at the agent outlet.
