South Sudan ministers visit Pran-RFL industrial park

A seven-member delegation of South Sudan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Deng Dau Deng Malek, visited Pran-RFL’s Industrial Park at Palash of Narsingdi on Thursday.

The delegation visited different parts of the Industrial Park. The delegation also included General Chol Thon Balok, Deputy Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, chairman and CEO at Pran-RFL Group, Eleash Mridha, managing director at Pran Group, RN Paul, managing director at RFL Group and Kamruzzaman Kamal, director (Marketing) at Pran-RFL Group apprised the delegation of various aspects of the production process, reads a press release.

The delegation expressed satisfaction to see the overall activities of the factory. Deng Dau Deng Malek said: “There is a good demand for agro-processing products in South Sudan and Pran can grab the opportunity. The steps taken by the group for manufacturing products using modern technologies are praiseworthy.”

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury said: “Pran-RFL is now exporting products to 47 African countries and the demand for our products is increasing day by day. We hope we will do better to export our products in South Sudan upcoming days.”

Md Tarikul Islam, director general (Africa), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brigadier General Md Shamim Kamal, chief instructor, Armed Forces War Course of National Defence College and top officials of Pran-RFL Group were also present at the event.
