Cement manufacturer LafargeHolcim Bangladesh has recommended a 25% cash dividend to its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2021.
The company made the decision at a board meeting on Monday. It also approved the audited financial statement.
LafargeHolcim’s sales increased by 27% to Tk2,053 crore during the year, reads a press release.
However, its aggregate production is now suspended as per the High Court order.
According to Dhaka Stock Exchange, the closing price for each of LafargeHolcim’s shares was Tk80.7 at the end of Tuesday’s trade.
Prior to 2021, the company offered a 10% cash dividend for the year 2020.
