edotco 'APAC Telecoms Tower Company of The Year'

edotco Group, the leading integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company, was honored with the Frost & Sullivan award “Asia Pacific Telecoms Tower Company of the Year” in 2021, making this the fifth consecutive year of their win.

Alongside the prestigious acknowledgement, the company now ranks as one of the top 10 Global tower companies, with a portfolio of 34,100 towers, according to the TowerXchange.

Adlan Tajudin, chief executive officer of edotco Group, said: “Both of these achievements recognise our work across the region. We have continued to contribute to the nations we are present in as their key infrastructure partner. We bring these countries the latest technologies, sustainable innovations and beneficial practices, ensuring our nation-building commitment is fulfilled even during Covid-19, as to maintain economic and social growth”.

In spite of the challenges of Covid-19, 2020 saw edotco successfully fulfill their commitments to customers across the region, deploying a series of sustainable design innovations and renewable energy offerings, as well as initiating partnerships for the creation of street-smart furniture and forefront technology.

According to a press release, the organization also reported having reduced its carbon emissions by 58% per site, while continuing to achieve sustainability infrastructure development.

“We are exceptionally proud of this achievement. So far in 2021, our key achievements include completing our first build to suit towers in the Philippines, signing large deals in Bangladesh and being appointed by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) to equip the upcoming tallest skyscraper in Malaysia with advanced telecommunications solutions. In the near future, we aspire to break into at least three new markets, reshape the organization to be analytics-and-data driven, and more. In addition to that we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by 70%, supporting Axiata with its Climate Action Plan,” he continued.
