State-owned mobile financial service (MFS) provider Nagad is now offering most benefits compared to other MFS providers in the market.

They recently unveiled a campaign under the slogan “Deshi Nagad e Beshi Labh” to convey this message, said a press release.

With Nagad, money can be sent to any part of the country instantly, without any cost, whereas receiving money can also be cashed out at the lowest price. In addition to this feature, the mobile financial service is offering solutions to various financial problems rising over time.

Users can instantly buy talk time and internet packages at the lowest prices from an array of options. They can shop online too, and pay their utility bills without worrying about any extra charges. 

They can also receive cashback for an insurance-premium-payment made through Nagad, as well as a Tk300 cash-back by paying off credit card bills through Nagad. 

In addition, a must-have feature for everyone during the Covid-19 crisis is one that allows people to pay for emergency-services from the convenience of their home. 

Nagad is the only institution through which fees for the Covid-19 test can be paid. Within the previous year, around 9 lakh people had paid the test-fee using Nagad.

Furthermore, to facilitate economic activities, Nagad enables consumers to pay 20,000 merchants across the country, by buying everyday-essentials through Nagad. 

Additionally, the MFS-operator allows shopping bills to be paid through over 700 e-commerce platforms, of which most contain attractive offers, including cash-backs. 

Alongside such benefits, customers can now suffice the bills of over 200 internet-service providers, as well as tuition fees’ for 250 educational institutions. For the savers, Nagad offers a 7.5% profit, making it the highest in the country.

An achievement of the app is enabling 200 garment factories to pay their workers’ wages and salaries in spite of the lockdown of 2020, while 33 charities continue to accumulate donations using the platform.
