Unilever Bangladesh to launch BizMaestros 2020 virtually

The 11th edition of Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL)'s flagship business case competition "BizMaestros 2020" will be virtually held this year with the theme of "Power the Future."

During this pandemic, students are facing uncertainty and missing the opportunity to explore and engage with the corporate sector. To support the Bangladeshi students, UBL has been continuing their campus initiatives on digital platforms since the beginning of the pandemic, said a press release.

This year the competition will commence on October 4, with its first round that focuses on ‘Thriving in the New Normal’ with the help of Unilever’s purpose-led brands.

The three-member teams will submit their solutions to business cases and be aided with mentoring and learning sessions as they go along the rounds.

After all three virtual rounds, Bizmaestros will close its curtains in November with a virtual grand finale.

The champions will get the outstanding opportunity to represent Bangladesh on the global platform of Unilever Future Leader’s League (FLL) 2021 and get fast-tracked in the recruitment process of Unilever’s prestigious Management Trainee program, Unilever Future Leader’s Program (UFLP).

Sakshi Handa, human resource director of Unilever Bangladesh said, “Despite the pandemic, Unilever Bangladesh has ensured active presence in campuses across the country, starting from leader-led learning sessions to recruitment of young minds under SPARKS Campus Ambassadors and Unilever Leadership Internship Programme. Now we are paving the way to start the Bizmaestros 2020 journey to power the future with the top talents of the country.”

In 2020, UBL engaged with over 50 universities all over Bangladesh to ensure learning opportunities for the student and reach to diverse talent.

Through a series of campus connects and skill building sessions, over 10,000 students could learn from the leading FMCG company.
