Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has been included in ‘One Stop Service Act, 2018’ for attracting investors from both home and abroad.
Prime Minister’s Office on July 19 issued a gazette notification in this regard and the gazette notification will take effect immediately.
The government has introduced the act as portal between private investors, local or foreign and the government.
Earlier, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority have been covered under the One Stop Service Act.
As the fifth organization, Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has been included in the Act.
