BCC, Kazi IT sign MoU to create jobs in Rajshahi

Bangladesh Computer Council and Kazi IT Center Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for creating 1,000 jobs in Information Technology (IT) sector in Rajshahi. The initiative was taken with the hope of spreading the country’s IT activities across the country. The BCC’s  Leveraging ICT (LICT) project and Kazi IT Center will work together to create efficient manpower and employment for them through developed training following the two-year MoU. BCC’s LICT project will help provide training lab, create modules, give certificates and other technical help. Kazi IT will provide training equipment, efficient trainers and create employments for the trained persons. Bangladesh Computer Council’s Director (training and development) Md Enamul Kabir and Kazi IT Center CEO Mike Kazi signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. The signing ceremony was held at the BCC’s conference room in Agargaon, Dhaka on Wednesday. State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present as the chief guest at signing ceremony. Palak said creating equal opportunity for all was one of the major goals of “Digital Bangladesh” initiative. Kazi IT initiative was bold enough and timely in line with Digital Bangladesh’s vision. Mike Kazi said they already managed office space in Rajshahi and expected to launch their official activities within the next two months.
