Renault, a French multinational automobile manufacturer and one of the fastest growing global automotive brands with 120 years of innovation and passion in the automotive industry, is marking its entry into Bangladesh in association with Karnaphuli Wheels (part of Karnaphuli group).
Their first initiative is to introduce two new cars into Bangladesh: Renault KWID and Renault Duster with Renaultstore concept. Renaultstore is a new generation of distributorship, which has been conceptualized to best address the evolving needs of customers by highlighting the value of the brand, products, services, and accessories in a modern and more effective manner.
“Happy customers are our main target, we’ll be satisfied if our customers become satisfied getting our services. Bangladesh is the fastest growing economy and emerging market of automobiles so Renault group is very proud to entered here,” said Sumit Sawheney, MD & CEO of group Renault.
“Renault group sold close to 3.76 million vehicles in 127 countries in 2017, has 36 manufacturing sites and 12,700 points of sales, and employs more than 120,000 people. The group is harnessing its international growth and the complementary fit of its five brands, Renault, Dacia, and Renault Samsung Motors, Alpine, and LADA, together with electric vehicles and the unique alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi,” he added.
Saber Hossain Chowdhury, distributor principal, Karnaphuli Wheels Limited, said this is a long term plan. Karnaphuli has recently entered into an MOU with City Bank Limited that offers competitive interest rates for car financing. “A customer who avails car financing from City Bank Limited will automatically be entitled to a 2% discount,” he added.
