Chittagong Eye Infirmary, BSMMU sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and the Chittagong Eye Infirmary and Training Complex (CEITC), locally known as Pahartali Eye Hospital, on Monday. The MoU, signed at the office of the Vice-Chancellor of BSMMU, declares that physicians of CEITC under MS (Ophthalmology) will be able to receive training in basic science and other related subjects. Similarly, physicians at BSMMU under MS (Ophthalmology) will be able to receive field level and sub-specialty training at CEITC. As part of the MoU, the institutions can exchange faculty members and conduct research jointly. BSMMU VC Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, Pro-VC Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed and Managing Trustee of CEITC Prof Dr Rabiul Hossain signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
