BIDS: Profitability unaffected by strikes

The research titled "How Do Exports Cope with Violence? Evidence from Political Strikes in Bangladesh" was conducted by Research Fellows Kazi Iqbal and Reshad Ahsan.
Both were in attendance at the BIDS Research Almanac seminar at Lakeshore Hotel in Gulshan, on Thursday.
However, the research also says that strikes have increased the transportation costs by 69%.
