3 killed in Bogra road accident 

Three people have been killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses at Bhoria area under Shibganj upazila in Bogra. The deceased are Abul Kalam Azad, 35, of Monsur Rahman of Gaibandha, Abdul Quader, 28, son of Rofiatulshahor of Kurigram and Ashraful Islam, 30, son of Abdul Kader of the same district.

Eid being celebrated in 12 villages of Bhola 

Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated in 12 villages under five upazilas of Bhola district on Thursday in line with the celebration of Saudi Arabia. The followers of Sureshwar and Satkania in these villages, who would be 5,000 in number, have been celebrating Eid every year a day ahead of the celebration that take place in the rest of the country.
