Passengers soaked from leaky ceiling on Delta Air Lines flight

The passengers of a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Florida were forced to sit in their seats under a leaky ceiling on Friday. A video footage recently went viral on social media which showed Tom McCullough, a passenger on the flight, trying to avoid being soaked by redirecting the water dripping using magazines, reports NDTV. Along with McCollough, around half a dozen other passengers were forced to sit in their seats during the course of their flight while water dripped from the plane's ceiling.A video uploaded by McCollough’s son showed his wife was asking him: "How much were these tickets, hon?" "These tickets were for $1,800," McCollough told his wife while still holding the magazines."He sat there for well over an hour, the flight attendants were made aware of the situation before takeoff," McCollough's son told the Daily Mail. The flight crew reportedly did not take action until the plane began its descent for landing when they just simply stuffed the ceiling with tissue paper. Later, the airline offered McCollough $100 voucher for the inconvenience, reported NBC.
