Social media reacts to Khaleda Zia verdict

In the wake of the court verdict against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, there have been polarized responses on social media platforms. While some are delighted by the sentence, others have strongly condemned it. A large number have also maintained a bipartisan stance, hoping that justice was served if the allegations were indeed true, and if not, then further hoping justice awaits in the hands of a higher power. Even Pakistanis and Indians took to comment on the political upheaval involving the first instance of a former prime minister in Bangladesh being convicted.
