A scientific study suggests that bad timekeepers tend to be more stress-free and optimistic which improve their longevity and success.
A higher inability of perceiving stress adds health benefits to the people who lack punctuality. According to The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), USA, stress is one of the main risk factors for causing depression, coronary heart disease (CHD), and blood pressure.
Moreover, the ability of ignoring stress allows them to think more creatively and optimistically, leading them to success.
Psychology Prof Jeff Conte at San Diego State University has discovered in a research that relaxed and creative people have different ways of perceiving time, an article on www.nikolateslafans.com reads.
While asked to guess the duration of time that had passed after making two groups of people wait one minute, competitive and impatient people answered 58 seconds while relaxed and creative people said it was 77 seconds.
Conte also found that people who often delay in their daily activities are often more enthusiastic and spontaneous.
Together these factors tend to increase longevity, success and positive personality traits of people who often tend to be running behind the schedule.
