A video of a hair cutting style has recently gone viral on social media where Pakistani barber Sadiq Ali is seen using 15 pairs of scissors to give people, including several of his country’s star cricketers, different hairstyles.
The 33-year-old owns a tiny salon in Lahore that is always full of customers who do not mind waiting in queues for a long time to experience his hair cutting technique.
Sadiq charges around 210 Pakistani rupees (Tk161 or £1.50) for his services that takes around 20 minutes to finish.
Pakistani cricketers Umar Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, former captains Inzamam-ul-Haq and Younis Khan, and even coach Mickey Arthur have become a fan of Sadiq and his regular customers.
“They love the spicy haircut I have invented. It is different from the usual cuts because 15 scissors are used to trim the hair and once it is done, the hair comes out really neat and stylish,” Sadiq told the
Daily Mail.

According to Sadiq, a barber for 15 years, he was inspired by a Chinese hairdresser Zedong Wang, who set a world record for using 10 scissors to do a haircut in 2007.
“I saw his act on the internet and was spellbound by his talent. He was unbelievable. I was (so) inspired by him that I decided to outdo him," he added.
The father of three said it took him five years to perfect his skills. In 2011, Sadiq had pulled off giving a haircut using 11 scissors.
"Holding 11 scissors in one hand was not an easy thing. They were heavy and it was difficult to make them work all at one time. Slowly, however, I got used to holding them and using them successfully for haircuts."
Sadiq said he gets swarmed by customers every day but he restricts his services to only 20 people a day as he wants to do his job perfectly.
"It feels good that everyone appreciates my hard work."
The barber hopes to set a Guinness World Record for using 16 scissors for a haircut in future.
