BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has remembered the contribution of the great leaders of the country including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
She was addressing the inaugural session of the party's sixth national council at Institution of Engineers' Bangladesh on Saturday afternoon.
At the beginning of her speech, she showed respect to all the great leaders of the country including Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for their contribution to the country.
She also thanked the party leaders and activists for electing her again as chairperson of the party.
"There is nor rule of law, democracy, governance in the country. Children are being killed brutally. Only misrule, misdeeds and anarchy is prevailing in the country," she said.
She said only BNP can introduce positive and expansive politics in the country.
Earlier in the morning, the BNP chief inaugurated the party's sixth national council through hoisting the national and party flags.
