'The service will help expedite Bangladesh’s digitization process and improve its global competitiveness'
Grameenphone, a telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh, has launched its 4G service in Chittagong city.
The operator’s chief human resources officer Quazi Mohammad Shahed launched the service at a ceremony at a hotel in the country’s premier port city.
The service is initially available at Dampara, Khulshi and Nasirabad, and other parts of the city will come under its coverage within a few days.
Addressing the event, Shahed expressed his hopes that the 4G service would help expedite Bangladesh’s digitization process and improve its global competitiveness.
Among others, Grameenphone Head of Digital Solaiman Alam and Chittagong Circle Head Shaon Azad were present at the event.
