The BFF has demanded for a proper investigation after miscreants committed a heinous act by setting fire to the cups, medals and certificates won by the girls at Kolsindur High School, a pioneering institute in the rise of women’s football in the country, Tuesday.
The school has been at the top in terms of producing female footballing talents in the country.
Many of the players of the current Bangladesh women’s team and the age-group teams hail from this school.
The BFF has also demanded punishment for the ones responsible.
At the same time, the federation wants to state that such heinous attacks will never be able to stop either the legacy of Kolsindur High School or the forward march of women footballers of Bangladesh.
