PM takes over Chamely’s responsibility

Former national cricketer Chamely Khatun has informed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will take over the responsibility of her treatment. 

Chamely, a member of Bangladesh’s silver-medal winning team in the Asian Games 2010, has been suffering from an injury for the last eight years and her situation exacerbated recently.

The news of Chamely, only earning member of an insolvent family in Rajshahi, made headlines recently and people from many facades stretched their support. 

“I have heard PM is going to take the responsibility of my treatment,” said Chamely over phone Wednesday. 

She also stated that BCB president Nazmul Hasan would look after her medical reports and many others have given her financial and mental support when the news broke.
