Bangladesh U-19 cricket team will take on their Indian counterparts in the final of the youth one-day tri-nation series in Hove, England Sunday.

The young Tigers, with four wins and 11 points, finished as the table-topper in the series, involving India and host England.

The second finalist, India, moved to the grand finale riding on three wins and as many losses. 

India finished second in the points table with eight points. 

Host England secured five points with two wins.

Bangladesh with the bat will look forward to in-form top order batsman Towhid Hridoy. 

With two half-centuries and a century, the right-handed batsman has scored 320 runs in seven innings at a staggering average of 106.66. 

With the ball, right-arm pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib is ruling the tournament table. 

In five matches and as many innings, Tanzim bagged 12 wickets with an economy of 5.52.

Bangladesh in their journey to the final registered three wins against England as the fourth game finished in a tie. 

Against India, Bangladesh U-19 picked up two wins.

The second game was abandoned while the fourth game had finished without a result due to rain.
