Top Bangladesh archer Md Ruman Shana took the 27th spot in the men’s recurve at the qualification round of the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.
Ruman scored 631 in the men’s recurve individual event to be placed among the top 30 where a total of 89 archers from 35 countries are participating.
Bangladesh’s female archer Beauty Roy was placed 40th out of 74 in the women’s recurve individual event on the same day with a score of 594.
Ruman and Beauty combined, took the 16th spot in the qualification round of recurve mixed team event with a total score of 1225. Ruman will face Kalapurayil Rajon of Switzerland in the 1/48 elimination round today.
