Day-long Ambassador Cup Wushu held

Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh, Zhang Zuo graced the occasion as the chief guest, while NSC secretary Masud Karim and film actor and director Masum Parvez Rubel were also present as special guests

The day-long 2nd Ambassador Cup China-Bangladesh Wushu Demonstration 2018 concluded at the gymnasium of the National Sports Council Saturday with four different teams winning as many events by the end of the event.

BKSP became champion in the difficulty category where Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association finished second. Dhaka DSA won in the innovative movement category where Garo Wushu Association became runners-up. 

Bangladesh Army and Diamond Marshal Art Club emerged first and second in the group performance, while Rajshahi DSA and Dhaka North Marshal Art finished champion and runners-up respectively in the “overall” category.

Rubel, also a former karate star, encouraged the participants as he shared inspiring experiences of his karate days.
