‘Tis the season to get married and Indian TV stars seems to have jumped on the bandwagon too. As some of fan favourites tie the knot, other fellow small screen celebrities join the holy matrimony to bless the newlywed couple.
December kicked off with Bigg Boss fame Aashka Goradia’s grand wedding with groom Brent Globe. The couple had a Christian wedding on December 1, followed by a Hindu wedding on December 3 in her hometown in Ahemdabad.
Goradia and Globes’ wedding as attended by her close friends and fellow actors, such as Mouni Roy, Sanam Johar, Abigail Pandey, Juhi Parmar, Sana Khan, Sumit Kaul, Karanvir Bohra with wife Teejay, Jai Bhanushali, Mahi Vij, Adaa Khan and many others.
Aashka, about her wedding plans, said: “My love story is a fairytale, so why not the wedding? If you asked me a couple of years ago, I used to think that I wouldn’t ever get married. Today, my friends ask me about that thought and my answer is that I found the right guy and what matters is getting married to him. This decision has led to the happiness of my family, who have always dreamt that I get married in a certain way, which is why I am going all out to have a fairy-tale wedding.”
Another fan favourite and India’s comedy queen, Bharti Singh, got married to her partner Haarsh Limbachiyaa on December 3. The couple was also seen striking a funny pose on their wedding card, where the bride is seen holding the groom on her shoulder.
Talking of their highly public wedding, Singh and Limbachiyaa said: ““The one thing I really like about Haarsh is that he likes it when a girl takes a lead. Usually, it is the guy holding the girl but he said no, let’s do it differently and I like that the most about him. He never tried to be the hero in anything, even our wedding web series has been named Bharti Ki Baraat. I had said that we should use Bharsh as the hashtag but he wanted it to use only my name. Haarsh doesn’t have any ego.”
Their wedding ceremony was also attended by Indian television’s A-lists, such as Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Anita Hassanandani, Rithvik Dhanjani, Asha Negi, Kashmira, Krushna Abhishek and Monalisa among others.
In one of the videos, shared by handle instabollywoodcrush on Instagram, the couple can be seen taking the seven auspicious pheras, making their vows to one another.
Singh and Limbachiyaa have also planned to spend at least 10 days with their family every year.
Before their wedding, the couple became famous after participating in a dance reality show “Nach Baliye,” earlier this year.
