"There is a dark tone of the character I am excited to play"
Jaya Ahsan has signed up for another Bangla film from Kolkata, in which the star will play a mentally challenged woman.
The psychological thriller titled Brishti Tomake Dilam is written by Anshuman Pratyush and directed by Arnob Pal. The film also casts Chiranjeet and Rajesh Sharma, among others.
In the film, the Bangladeshi star is going to play a woman with spilt personal disorder, who goes to travel abroad after being advised by her physician to do so.
Talking about her new role in the psychological thriller, Jaya Ahsan told an Indian press, “What I liked most is the film’s storyline. Besides, there is a dark tone of the character I am excited to play.”
Recently, the three-time National Film Award winning actress has bagged the best actress award at the Celaidoscope Indian Film Festival in Massachusetts, US for her acting in Bishorjon. Her film Bishorjon also clinched the best film award at the festival which ran from September 8 to 11.
