Without any explanation, US rapper Kanye West has mysteriously deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts, which had tens of millions of followers.
The rapper’s Twitter page, @kanyewest, which had more than 27 million followers, now shows a message, saying: “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” Meanwhile, on Instagram, @kanyewest now leads to a screen, with the words: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

Kim Kardashian West, his wife and reality TV star, is still using her social media platforms. However, she has not made any reference to her husband’s disappearance. In Kim’s recent tweet, she referred to the couple’s new children’s outfits, saying: “Kanye’s hand drew our KIDS logo.” Fans responded by pleading with her to persuade her husband to return.
West had already adopted a quieter approach to social media earlier this year and reportedly deleted some of his previous pro-Trump tweets.
This is not the first time Kanye has gone on hiatus from social media. In October 2012, he deleted all but one tweet, just leaving the message: “BE BACK SOON.”
West has had a stressful past few months, with his wife being tied up and robbed in a Paris hotel in October. The following month, he spent a week in the hospital after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation. He also cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour.
